SAGE Intacct Implementation Manager

Job Description:

As a SAGE Intacct Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of the SAGE Intacct cloud-based accounting and financial management software for clients. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the software is configured and customized to meet the unique business requirements of each client. You will collaborate with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders to drive the implementation process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAGE Intacct for clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, financial reporting needs, and system requirements.
  • Solution Design: Translate client requirements into a comprehensive solution design, including configuration, customizations, and integrations with other systems.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure the SAGE Intacct software to meet the specific needs of each client, including chart of accounts, dimensions, workflows, and reporting structures. Implement customizations using the platform’s customization tools, such as custom fields, objects, and scripts.
  • Data Migration: Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to SAGE Intacct, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality and accuracy of the implemented system. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Training and User Adoption: Conduct training sessions for client end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to promote system adoption and optimal utilization.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain implementation documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and support personnel, to resolve complex technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest features and enhancements of SAGE Intacct. Identify opportunities to optimize and improve existing implementations, processes, and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, EA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an implementation manager or consultant for SAGE Intacct or other similar cloud-based accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management processes.
  • Proficient in configuring and customizing SAGE Intacct.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
