Key Responsibilities Area: – Understanding of networking protocols. – Understanding of IP Subnetting, IP packet flow & DHCP packet flow. – Knowledge of Static and dynamic routing and Switching Protocols. – Basic knowledge of VLAN, STP, SSH, SNMP V3, Port Security, ACL etc. – Understanding of TCP/UDP ports and network tools like Wireshark. – Good understanding of IPV4 and IPV6. – Investigating faults in the network. – Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases. – Basic configuration of router, LAN switch, firewall, wireless, servers, backup systems etc. – Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. – Raise Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and track these through to problem resolution. – Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools. – Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. – Perform backup for network devices. – Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. – Basic knowledge of AD & Create VM, Snapshot, Template in VMWare. – Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Firewall (FTD) Management. – Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) Management. – Cisco Secure Endpoint Management. – Good understanding of HSRP, TACACS+ vs RADIUS in switch. – Cisco Router Configuration & Management e.g., VPN, EIGRP, TACACS+ vs RADIUS, NetFlow etc. – Cisco Webex management. – Cisco Meraki MX Firewall, Switches, Access point and Camera management. – Cisco Secure Email Gateway management. – Basic idea of Cisco Umbrella. Skills Prerequisites to hire – Open to work in rotational and night shift environment – Excellent command over English (Verbal & Written) – Flexible and willing to come on Weekends and Holidays Soft Skills / Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Ability to communicate and present ideas in user-friendly language to both technical and non-technical clients and staff as needed – Ability to work collaboratively with peers – Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, demonstrate professionalism while maintaining composure in stressful situations – Must be able to resolve issues in short turnaround time Documentation – Knowledge Base – Standard operating procedures – Network Diagram – Configurations and specifications of client environment
