What does this role involve?
This role offers a diverse and impactful opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to lead key accounting functions. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and preparing financial statements, verifying the accuracy of bookkeeping, and supporting CPA work papers. The position also includes assisting with income tax preparation and filing, managing 1099s/W-2s, and handling Intacct time entries. Effective communication with clients and our US office is essential, along with contributing to MIS reporting and budgeting processes.
In addition to core accounting duties, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening internal systems and workflows. This includes monitoring processes for improvement, ensuring compliance with SOPs, document checklists, and financial work papers, and collecting essential data such as work planners and submission checklists. You’ll also support client billing—especially for hourly clients—and maintain strict confidentiality in line with ISO/IEC:27001 standards.
The role also involves active engagement in employee relationship management and performance monitoring.
